- Since we have such a sub-standard health care system in the USA, I wonder if Dodd will have his surgery in Great Britian or Canada. Under Obamacare he would just be given a pill since he is too old to LIVE any longer because the costs of tests, surgery, recovery etc., would be too much.

I agree with you Stan; most don't seem to understand what the electoral college is about and how it works. It was not just a simpler way to "count votes" like one poster thought. It was a fair way to make every vote in every state count, that way the larger states would not choose our presidents, but even the small ones could be a deciding factor. Its a shame our "forefathers" are not here now to give us some insight on how to fix the stock market!
